At no extra cost to a single colour screen, you can create your own striped screen using any combination of our standard stock colours. We use the same high quality anodised aluminium supplied from Europe. This ensures the screens are hardwearing, can be used outside and will not rust. We have several options for stripes. 

There are 4 types of stripe:

Single Stripe – separate colour strands across the hanging rail. 

Pin Stripe – 7 or 8 strands of silver followed by 2 strands of colour.

Thin Stripe – 4 or 5 strands of each colour.

Thick Stripe – 7 or 8 strands of each colour.

Regency Stripe - 2 strands of silver (or colour) followed by 3 strands or colour then 2 strands of silver (or colour) followed by 1 strand of colour.

If you order a rail over 130cm this will come in 2 sections of each for ease of fitting. If you would like your screen over 130cm n length to come in 1 piece please contact us.

When measuring for a door or window chain fly screen, take the opening size and add 2cm (0.75") to the width so the screen overlaps the frame, and add 5cm (2") to the height to account for the hanging rail. The finished size of the screen supplied will be the size requested including the hanging rail. The links are 24mm in length so screens will be +/- 12mm.

The brackets that can be purchased separately are 35mm in depth and you need an additional 15mm (50mm in total) clearance above the door/window so that the hanging rail can be hooked over the top. The brackets are supplied with screws to fit to PVC, wooden and metal frames. Ceiling Brackets are also available. Matching coloured screw caps are also provided along with simple installation instructions. We supply all chain products with 3 wood screws and 3 self-tapping screws if brackets arent purchased - these can be used to hang the chain rail. We recommend a pair of brackets for each 1m width.
