Premium colours are only available through Sway Screens and as the only importer of these colours into the UK we think they provide the extra WOW factor. Aluminium chain fly screens are a popular and effective way of keeping insects out and can be a stylish addition to homes, places of work, caravan/mobile homes and the like.They can also be used as internal decor to divide rooms and spaces as well as a different and interesting wall covering. Our screens are made from high quality anodised aluminium chain fixed to a strong aluminium rail. Both are sourced in Europe.

When measuring for a door or window chain fly screen, take the opening size and add 2cm (0.75") to the width so the screen overlaps the frame, and add 5cm (2") to the height to account for the hanging rail. The finished size of the screen supplied will be the size requested including the hanging rail. The links are 24mm in length so screens will be +/- 12mm.

The brackets that can be purchased separately are 35mm in depth and you need an additional 15mm (50mm in total) clearance above the door/window so that the hanging rail can be hooked over the top. The brackets are supplied with screws to fit to PVC, wooden and metal frames. Ceiling Brackets are also available. Matching coloured screw caps are also provided along with simple installation instructions. We supply all chain products with 3 wood screws and 3 self-tapping screws if brackets arent purchased - these can be used to hang the chain rail. We recommend a pair of brackets for each 1m width.
