These mesh fly screen kits are designed for domestic and light commercial use. The screens can be hinged to provide access to windows while keeping insects out, or can be fixed permanently or semi-permanently using turn buttons to keep them in place. We have 2 colour options in 3 sizes available for purchase.

There are two styles of coated aluminium profile:K1 is flanged so that typically the screen fits into a window recess with the flange creating a snug fit against the wall.T10 has a box profile and face fits against the wall for example surrounding a window recess.Each kit comes with hinges and turn buttons to keep the screen in place. The 1000mm x 1500mm kit comes with a mid bar for more stability.Additional turn buttons can be purchased if you prefer to fit the screen in place during the summer and remove it during winter months.

T10 Box Profile

A flyscreen using T10 Box profile is designed to be face fitted to a window surround or opening. To determine the size of the screen measure the opening and add 38mm ( 19mm each side) to the width and height to account for the frame.

If the screen is to be hinged please ensure there is at least 13mm clearance to fit the hinges and 12mm on the opposite side to fit the turn buttons to secure it in place when closed.

If the screen is to be semi-permanently fitted using turn buttons then please ensure there is at least 12mm clearance on each side the turn buttons are to be used.

K1 Flanged Profile

A screen using the K1 flanged profile can be face fitted to a window surround using hinges and turn buttons or just turn buttons if fitted semi-permanently in place. It can also be used to sit inside the frame or recess so flange forms a seal around the opening.

If the screen is to be face fitted please measure the size of the opening and add 52mm (26mm each side) to the width and height to account for the frame. If the screen is to be hinged please ensure there is at least 11mm additional clearance to fit the hinges and 21mm on the opposite side to fit the turn buttons to secure it in place when closed. If the screen is to be semi-permenantly fitted using turn buttons then please ensure there is at least 21mm additional clearance on each side the turn buttons are to be used.

If the screen is to be fitted within the frame or recess then please add 14mm (7mm each side) to the width and height of the opening to account for the overhanging flange. If turn buttons are to be used to keep the screen semi-permenantly in place the at least 26mm additional clearance is needed on each side they are to be fitted.
